This is the third episode of Alcohol by Volume: a new podcast dedicated to the homebrew community. In this episode, Josh Carr and Dennis Niedfeldt continue our “Beer Basics” series as they discuss the cleaning supplies necessary to maintain a proper brewing environment so your beer doesn’t sour (unnecessarily). It’s a continuation of our beginner’s guide to homebrewing.
As we mention each show, if these concepts end up being a little too basic for you, we’ll move into more complicated conversations in the future. This series is really meant for people who are new to the homebrew community. This “Beer Basics” series is a great way to familiarize yourself with the art of homebrewing.
Our hosts, Josh and Dennis, are avid homebrewers that wanted to take their interests to the podcast format. Dennis has been brewing for a few years already. Josh is really just getting started. Together, they make a great team: a rookie and a veteran with questions and answers that will have you listening each week.
As we move forward with the podcast, we’ll step out of the “Beer Basics” series and into recipes, interviews, Q&A from our listeners, etc. We want your feedback. Sure, we’re doing this show because we love it, but we’re also doing it for you. If we mess up, we expect you to tell us. If you want us to answer a question, ask it. Feel free to leave a comment and we’ll get back to you.
